3-Day, 2-Night Itinerary for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

This tour offers an amazing adventure, through one of Kenya’s unique destinations. Taita Hills Conservancy offers an intimate safari experience away from the crowds, blending incredible wildlife viewing, night game drives, guided nature walks, and a historic tour with great tales of the World War 1 history.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival and Safari Adventure

5.30 a.m.:           Early morning pick up from hotel in Nairobi and transfer to the Railway station for

Your trip to Voi.

12.30 p.m.          Arrival at Voi and pick up and transfer to Salt lick lodge/ Taita Hills safari Resort.

1.15 p.m.:           Arrival at lodge, Check-in and short brief given about your stay.  Thereafter, you

Will head out for lunch

2.30 p.m:            Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the lodge.

4.30 p.m.:           Embark on your first game drive within Taita Hills Conservancy.  Spot elephants,

Lions, leopards, and rare bird species.

Evening:

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

 

Day 2: Full-Day Exploration and Cultural Immersion:

Morning:            Start the day with an early morning breakfast

Then head out for a guided nature walk and a tour of the World War 1 museum

12.30 pm:           Head back to the lodge for lunch

 

Afternoon:         After lunch you can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge and enjoying the wildlife from the comfort of your space.

Evening:             Wind down with dinner at lodge and overnight stay at lodge.

 

Day 3: Departure

Morning:            Have an early morning breakfast before being dropped off at the Voi train station for your train ride back to Nairobi.

Afternoon:         Arrival Nairobi and transfer back to hotel / airport
