Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.  Meet and greet by Ash Tours and Travel representative.   Transfer to your hotel in Nairobi for a restful evening.

 

Day 2: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve.  Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley.  Arrival in the mid-morning, check in at camp and enjoy a sumptuous lunch.  In the afternoon head out for a game drive before returning to camp for dinner and a restfull evening.

 

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, the whole day is dedicated to exploring the Mara. Enjoy an exciting game drive to spot the Big Five and other wildlife.   Return to camp in the late afternoon for rest and relaxation.

Optional hot air balloon safari over the Mara (additional cost).

 

Day 4: Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Check out of hotel after breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake teeming with birdlife.  A late afternoon boat safari and sundowner to see hippos and vibrant bird species.

Relax at the lodge surrounded by lush gardens and dinner.

 

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Wake up to an early morning breakfast and drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Arrival at lodge in the late afternoon.  Have a late lunch and spend the remaining of the day relaxing.  Dinner and a relaxed evening.

 

Day 6: Amboseli National Park

Full day in Amboseli with morning and evening game drives.  Capture stunning photos of wildlife with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop.  Later on in the afternoon visit a maasai village and experience the rich culture and heritage of the Maasai people.

Return to lodge for a relaxed evening and dinner.

 

Day 7: Amboseli to Mombasa (Diani Beach)

After breakfast, check out of hotel for a drive back to Nairobi where you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Diani .

Arrival and transfer to your beach hotel, one of Africa’s most beautiful coastal gems.

Relax and enjoy the serene Indian Ocean breeze.

 

Day 8: Diani Beach

Unwind with full days at leisure by the beach.

Pamper yourself with spa treatments or explore the Swahili culture of the coast.

Accommodation: Baobab Beach Resort & Spa (or similar).

Day 9: Diani Beach

Breakfast and head out for a tour of the Wasini Island.  Return to hotel in the late afternoon for rest and relaxtion

 

Day 10: Diani Beach

The day is open to rest and relaxation with plenty of activities at your beach resort.

 

Day 11: Departure from Mombasa

Morning at leisure to soak in the last moments of paradise.  Transfer to Moi International Airport for your departure flight and flight back home.
