Day 1: Departure from Nairobi – Arrival at Meru National Park
Meet at the designated pickup point in Nairobi. Depart for Meru National Park. A scenic drive through the central highlands offers breathtaking views of Mount Kenya. Stopover at Nanyuki for refreshments and a quick photo opportunity with Mount Kenya in the backdrop.
Arrive at Meru National Park and check in at lodge or camp in time for lunch.Enjoy a welcome drink and lunch and settle in. Begin the first game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes, rivers, and wildlife, including elephants, lions, and zebras.
Return to the lodge for relaxation & dinner
Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Meru National Park
Early morning wake-up call and tea/coffee. Embark on a sunrise game drive for a chance to spot predators like lions and leopards. Return to the lodge later on in the morning for breakfast.
Spend the rest of the morning relaxing at the lodge, take a nature walk with a guide, or visit nearby attractions such as the Adamson Camp (home to George and Joy Adamson of Born Free fame).
Lunch at the lodge. Head out for an afternoon game drive or explore the park’s wetlands to spot rare birds and aquatic life, including hippos and crocodiles. Return to the lodge for rest and relaxation.
Dinner followed by an evening by the campfire.
Day 3: Morning Safari – Return to Nairobi
Early breakfast. Optional short game drive to bid farewell to Meru’s stunning wildlife.
Check out from the lodge and begin the journey back to Nairobi.
Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon and drop off at the designated location.
